    The Travel Product Procurement Professional will work directly with all Ancillary travel component vendors including DMCs, Transfer companies, excursion companies to negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts in the procurement of group travel products.  In this highly visible regional role, the Travel Product Procurement Professional will be responsible for the development of 100 group travel experiences per month throughout the entire European region.


    This is an ideal role for an established Procurement/Acquisition professional with a travel/hospitality industry background who is driven by developing exceptional product offerings and vendor relationships.


    - Works directly with DMC’s, transfer and excursion companies to create and develop a set number of group trips on an established calendar. Each group trip will be inclusive of transfers, excursions, special meals/parties.
    - Maintains and creates relationships with new and existing strategic vendors.
    - Negotiates best possible hotel/transfer/excursion terms and rates.
    - Sourcing, contracting, and administration of inclusive group travel experiences.
    - Negotiates contract terms with vendors and their appropriate team to adhere to company legal and compliance policies.
    - Evaluates the value and level of quality of all DreamTrip products proposed by strategic partners to ensure alignment with member and company expectations.
    - Ensures that once trips are created they are loaded into correct internal booking and management systems.
    - Monitors performance of open trips for utilization and performance.
    - Actions on underperforming trips/destination by altering marketing efforts, included elements, terms, timing, etc.
    - Creates reports for regional manager on trip volume, utilization, performance, procurement and progress.
    - Works with internal teams to ensure trip production, communication, and dissemination of trip details to members.
    - Maintains and monitors inventory levels of trips available for purchase on member facing portals.


    • 3+ years Procurement/acquisition/market management/vendor management/account management
    • 5+ years Travel/ Hotel Industry experience
    • Procurement/acquisition within travel industry highly preferred
    • Knowledge of hotel distribution/commerce and group travel desired.
    • Hotel revenue management and contracting experience is a plus.
    • Analytical skills and demonstrated capabilities with MS Excel reporting and formulas
    • Demonstrated vendor negotiation skills
    • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
    • Fluency in English is required; Fluency in other European languages a plus
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism or Hospitality or equivalent experience
