    The VP of Travel Services is a critical role which will architect, lead, and implement global sales strategies for our Individual travel/OTA channel.  The ideal candidate will have deep experience in the full sales cycle from lead creation to closing deals and will be an expert at developing key strategies to roll down to a team of Business Development Specialists.  Thorough understanding and proven experience with overall financial aspects of sales including revenue management, margin management, volume impacts,  etc will be critical skills as this role will have full ownership of driving Individual travel/OTA revenue.  This is an ideal role for a high performer who understands how make unseen connections, create viable sales plans, and who understands how to move the needle from good to great.



    Responsibilities

    - The Vice President, Travel Services supports Rovia global sales through the curation of innovative
    - sales strategies for the Individual Travel/OTA channels.
    - Leads and implements full-cycle global sales.
    - Builds, leads, and holds accountability for key financial KPI’s, reports.
    - Develop, lead, and asses effective Marketing strategies for individual travel/OTA channels
    - Creates and develops relationships that leverage Rovia product offerings.
    - Leads a team of Business Development specialist and ensures alignment to defined performance metrics.
    - Creates integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers.
    - Focuses resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes and establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.
    - Promotes alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization.
    - Representative to travel industry associations and conferences.
    - Must have executive experience and relationships in the travel industry.
    - Proven understanding of international differences and relationships and the ability to define an analytical framework that drives and supports business decisions.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
    • 15+ years directly related experience in the travel industry with a focus on sales.
    • 10+ year management experience preferred.
    • Proven track record of multi-million sales growth development.
    • Experience in partnering with an executive team.
    • High level of written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to actively communicate, inspire and motivate all levels of staff.
    • Ability to think and act strategically and proactively.
    • Ability to work in a fast growing entrepreneurial environment, while building a sustainable and scalable structure and organization. Ability to set clear priorities and to execute accordingly.
    • Ability to collaborate and work in a highly matrixed environment with effective leadership and proven managerial skills. Excellent oral and written communication required.
    • Availability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 75%.
