    The role of the Travel Operations Manager leads the operations team in the Netherlands office, and also the contractors in the field, helping successfully operating 800+ groups per year all over Europe.  This role implements and follows the global brand standards, whilst taking the initiative to move the regional operations to improved efficiencies and service standards.


    - Effective daily running of the Operations Department for Europe.
    - Leading a team of 20-30 remote based contractors, who host all the groups in the region 
    - Managing operations support team with their daily tasks 
    - Communication with our members pre-travel with the guides and welcome emails  
    - Management of remote hosts (tour managers), to ensure social media marketing strategies are implemented
    - Communication with the vendors with rooming lists, special VIP requests, and key info about the upcoming groups 
    - Reviewing of post-travel Host Reports, and following up with actions and changes in order to improve the service quality of future groups 
    - Implementing and running of training programs and materials in order to continuously improve and train the Host to offer world-class service 
    - Be on call during weekends for emergencies of any operational issues of groups (rotating with other team members)
    - Taking initiative to solve problems and challenges, whilst also driving the constant improvement of the department and operation
    - Work closely with the Director of Procurement and Products Marketing Manager in order to effectively execute regional strategic plans 
    - Drafting, preparing, implanting and executing regional operations plans


    • 7+ years of directly related work experience
    • 3+ years travel Industry experience  
    • Degree or Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality Management Preferred
    • Operational experience in handling groups from 50 pax to 200+ pax, preferable in the leisure segment
    • Must be self motivated, organised and great attention to detail
    • Proven high performer with strong people skills and high dedication to work
    • Must have a proactive can-do attitude with a reliable performance record 
    • Effective management experience with direct reports, preferably with remote team
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
    • Willingness to travel
