    The Senior Territory Manager is part of the Membership Products team who is responsible for enhancing the value of our memberships through benefits and products that can be accessed by our members on a daily basis and in their local markets.  These benefits include a loyalty rewards program, powered by Dining, Entertainment and Spa partnerships, as well as daily deals, concierge benefits and local events.


    The Senior Territory Manager is responsible for acquiring local businesses to participate in the Dining & Entertainment program, and partnering with WorldVentures’ independent field sales leaders and contractors, who have been identified to assist with merchant recruiting efforts. The STM will help lead the field sales leaders trainings and help them close leads. The ideal candidate will have strong entrepreneurial experience, the ability to empower field representatives as an acquisition channel, and a fearless “roll-up-your-sleeves and get things done” mentality. 


    The Senior Territory Manager will be responsible for closing deals with weekly and monthly goals for activity and closes. Progress will be tracked through a CRM. Up to 50% travel required in this role.


    This position has a high variable pay component in the compensation plan.  Do not apply if you are not goal driven with a stellar record of exceeding or surpassing goals on a regular basis.  Commissions will be paid on personal sales, as well as collaborative sales with local field leaders.



    Day to day responsibilities will include:
    - Locate and propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities
    - Close merchant partner deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
    - Strategize and execute plans to grow territory markets in demand, sales and member engagement
    - Responsible for relationship building and account management of membership product merchants
    - Ongoing training of the Certified Representative team


    • 8+ years of related sales, business development and account management experience
    • 6+ years of experience cold calling
    • Self-motivated, proactive, passionate and results-oriented professional driven to achieve at a very high level
    • Willing and able to travel for business frequently (50% travel)
    • Strong knowledge of the Malaysia marketplace and cultural landscape is required
    • Ability to collaborate in a remote team environment
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced, dynamically changing environment
    • Relationship building capabilities
    • Vendor/partner management and negotiations skills
    • Experience opening new markets required
    • Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience required
