The Travel Development Support Specialist assists our Travel Development Planners and the Marketing & Development (M&D) Manager of their assigned region or program with administrative, reporting, and quality control functions.

Responsibilities

- Assists with administrative functions that are key to the Travel Development Planners’ ability to deliver on quality and consistentency in our travel product called "DreamTrips".
- Responsible for the auditing and processing of proposals in collaboration with a Travel Development Planner who would be accountable for the end-to-end design of the trip.
- Responsible for loading DreamTrips inventory and pricing into our inventory management system based on contract details and additional details provide by the M&D Team.
- Conducts quality review and testing of the trip links and launches trips on the site per the scheduled release date and final review approval from the Travel Development Professional.
- Works cross-functionally within the Travel Products team to create visibility to individual trip demands and minimize risks. This will include analyzing trip booking patterns and trip utilization within their assigned region to create visibility into market trends and equip the M&D team with actionable trip-level insights.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Travel industry experience preferred.
  • Able to gather information, compile data and create reports.
  • Able to compose, create and edit written material.
  • Effective communication skills and an ability to act upon instructions with minimal guidance.
  • Proactively able to prioritize business needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented, process and deadline driven.
  • A passion for travel.
  • Proficient in English and additional language requirements as identified by regional appointment.
